Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CricSynthesis API platform (including CricVeda, MatchSynth, and GraphSynth), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Currently, our APIs are in private beta and access is restricted. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company (such as a fantasy platform, franchise, or broadcaster), you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.

2. License and API Usage Options

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use our APIs strictly in accordance with these Terms and the provided technical documentation.

  • API Keys: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. You must not share your keys or embed them in publicly accessible frontend code unless explicitly permitted through scoped credentials.
  • Rate Limiting: Usage is subject to rate limits as configured for your private beta tier. You agree not to attempt to circumvent these limitations or overwhelm our infrastructure.
  • Caching: You are encouraged to cache API responses (such as player form data or odds) in accordance with the ttl_seconds provided in the response payloads to minimize load.

3. Specific Product Terms

CricVeda API

Data provided continuously via CricVeda is intended for enhanced user experiences on fantasy platforms. You agree that predictions generated by CricVeda are algorithmic estimates and are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. You may not misrepresent CricVeda outputs as definitive facts or financial advice.

MatchSynth API

MatchSynth is a computational engine providing simulations. Subscriptions to MatchSynth are bound by strict non-disclosure of the internal modeling parameters to external, unassociated franchises. The data output is exclusively for internal team operational decision-making.

GraphSynth API

For broadcasters utilizing GraphSynth, you are granted a license to publicly broadcast the rendered visualizations and graphical elements delivered via the API payload, provided attribution requirements detailed in your custom agreement are met.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying predictive models of the APIs.
  • Use the API to build a directly competitive analytics or API product.
  • Resell or sublicense the raw API access to third parties.
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or use the API for any illegal activities.

5. Intellectual Property

CricSynthesis retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the APIs, documentation, and the underlying historical database systems. Any data you submit via API requests remains yours; however, you grant us a license to process it to fulfill your requests.

6. Service Level and Disclaimers

During the private beta, the APIs are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to maintain our sub-500ms latency standard, we make no warranties regarding uptime, uninterrupted access, or complete accuracy of data predictions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CricSynthesis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising out of your use of or inability to use the APIs.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke your API access at our sole discretion, immediately and without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or pose a security risk to the platform.
